Our cookbook is a very popular item. It contains 50 historic recipes which were developed during the First World War (1914-1918) and the Second World War (1939-1945) in response to the food shortages and strict rationing policies implemented during the war years. Cooks and homemakers had to be extremely creative when preparing food during both of the World Wars. The interesting and innovative recipes which came out of the wars provide a unique glimpse into the eras. This cookbook is roughly 50 pages in length and contains numerous colour reproductions of wartime rationing posters. It is an interesting read for the cook and historian alike!
